Blending Funk and Cajun flavors with a sense of  bar room intrigue, backroom mystery, legendary local charm, and always with their signature Southern Rock grit, Peningo Riders serve up a high-energy homage to one of New York\u2019s best-kept musical secrets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The real-life Rye Roadhouse\u2014formerly known as the High Street Roadhouse and, before that, Over the Bridge,\u00a0has\u00a0long\u00a0been\u00a0known\u00a0to locals\u00a0as a hidden gem across the tracks,\u00a0and\u00a0a\u00a0historic venue\u00a0with\u00a0a rich pedigree.\u00a0Frequented by rock royalty, with guitar virtuoso Warren Haynes (The Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule) known to swing by the Roadhouse kitchen for takeout, the Roadhouse has also\u00a0hosted\u00a0guest appearances from members of the Spin Doctors, rock icon Ace Frehley, and some of the most famous Grateful Dead tribute acts in the country.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
